Dreamshock are pleased to announce that the Sky Poker Graphics project has now been completed.
Our brief was to create 52 instructional pieces and graphics for the new channel launch, which would be 1 minute explainer videos to help entise people into the world of poker.
It all began with filming in a London based green screen studio, where both presenters Richard Orford and Helen Chamberlain took turns to read through the scripts and point to virtual objects that were due to be added in Post Production.
The next step was the edit of the camera angles and turns to make sure each peice would fit in to the alloted 1 minute schedule. Once the edits were ready for post production, work began on creating the set and environments of the presenter studios.
Once the graphical style was created, we moved on to Maxon Cinema 4D to create the poker assests such as the table, cards and chips that would be used in the animations. Once the 3D renders were produced and timematched to the presenters, a final overlay of production was applied to each animation and a module file created from the individual animations.
The final set of graphics were then delivered, as 52 individual animations, and 11 module files. DIVX compressed web movies were also supplied for use on the Sky Poker website.
